If you have a file server, then you need to keep an eye on it. You should regularly check backups, antivirus coverage and disk space. You should check that essential services are running and that no unusual errors have been reported. You should also monitor connections to other equipment and be alert to intrusion attempts from outside.
Ideally you should do this on a daily basis.
We have developed Active Server Monitoring to do this for you. We charge just 1 minute per working day from your support contract to make these checks on a daily basis. We fix faults, we alert to problems and we keep you informed.
Then having completed the morning check, we go on checking - every 15 minutes - for problems that may arise during the day.
We run checks on all working days at 8am (Mon-Fri
excluding holidays)
What will it cost me?
It costs 1 minute per day, or 1 hr per quarter, or 4 hours per year. If this is the only contract you have with us then you’ll pay just £25 per month.
I already have a contract - is this billed
separately?
No, we just deduct 1hr per quarter from your existing
contract.
Is there a set up fee?
We need to load a small piece of software onsite and we charge £45 for the software and the time to install
it.
Can I cancel it if I don’t like it?
Of course, just give us 1 month’s notice
How do I know if you’ve found a problem?
For serious issues the Helpdesk will call you, but you’ll get daily, weekly and monthly reports as
well.
