If I leave my PC in the workshop, when will it be ready?
We assign workshop slots to each job, so that you know when work will start on your PC. We'll then call you when the work is complete .
Will I lose the data on my machine?
Your data is only at risk when the fault affects your hard drive. In a minority of cases there is a risk to data on your drive and our staff will assess this before working on your system. If you would like us to take a data backup before starting then please let us know as the protection of your data is ulitmately your responsibility .
Do I get a warranty on the repair?
Yes, we warrant all new replacement parts and their installation for 1 year.
I only want someone to have a quick look at the machine, do I still need to book it in?
Yes, as each engineer is dedicated to a machine when working in the workshop. If you book an investigation and this leads to a workshop booking then the investigation fee will be deducted from the final bill.
I bought my machine somewhere else. Will SoundByte be able to fix it?
We carry out workshop repairs and upgrades on a wide range of manufacturers systems. Since most PC components are interchangeable, differing brands do not present us with problems |
