Investigation £ 49.00 inc |
We can investigate the problems you are experiencing with your machine and if a workshop fix is required then we will produce a firm quote for the work needed. This is escpecially useful for diagnosing the causes of poor performance, confirming hardware faults and advising on software re-installation. |
Quick Fix £ 49.00 inc |
Typically used for simple problems with software drivers, peripherals such as printers and scanners and for software and minor hardware installations. |
Full Workshop £ 79.00 inc |
Useful for software updates, disk upgrades and repairing software faults. Includes downloading of the latest windows updates and patches. |

If you've got a virus or just want to be sure that you haven't, then you need a virus bust. We use the latest techniques to make sure yur PC is clear from viruses and protect your data. If you want a copy of the latest antivirus software at the same time, we can offer it at a reduced cost. |
Major Workshop £ 129.00 inc |
Our major workshop booking is the maximum fee for any repair, regardless of how long it takes us. Suitable for windows reinstallation, major hardware changes and data recovery. |
Collect & Return |
If it's difficult to get your PC in to the workshop then we can collect it, repair it and return it afterwards. The machine must be disconnected ready for collection and the price does not include reconnection. |

If it's difficult to get your PC in to the workshop then we can collect it, repair it and return it afterwards. When we collect the PC we will disconnect the unit and reconnect it when it is returned. |

If I leave my PC in the workshop, when will it be ready?
We assign workshop slots to each job, so that you know when work will start on your PC. We'll then call you when the work is complete .
Will I lose the data on my machine?
Your data is only at risk when the fault affects your hard drive. In a minority of cases there is a risk to data on your drive and our staff will assess this before working on your system. If you would like us to take a data backup before starting then please let us know as the protection of your data is ulitmately your responsibility .
Do I get a warranty on the repair?
Yes, we warrant all new replacement parts and their installation for 1 year.
I only want someone to have a quick look at the machine, do I still need to book it in?
Yes, as each engineer is dedicated to a machine when working in the workshop. If you book an investigation and this leads to a workshop booking then the investigation fee will be deducted from the final bill.
I bought my machine somewhere else. Will SoundByte be able to fix it?
We carry out workshop repairs and upgrades on a wide range of manufacturers systems. Since most PC components are interchangeable, differing brands do not present us with problems
